INTRODUCED FISH SPECIES
Thailand is a tropical country so the waters here are warm which has meant some very large sport fish from other tropical countries have been introduced into man made fishing park lakes around the country, probablly the most attractive of these is thePirarucu or Arapaima. This fish is the second biggest freshwater fish in the world, it is legendary for its fighting strength aswell as being very hard to catch. A specimen of 185Kg has been caught from Bungsamran lake in Bangkok.
