This Lake is home to a vast multitude of various Thailand freshwater fish species of which the following 7 fish species are the primary targets at this venue..
Mekong giant catfish ,Striped catfish,Siamese giant carp , Indian carp \ rohu , Chinese bighead carp, Black shark (carp specie), Arapimia.
STOCKING DENSITY Fish species & sizes are very similar to Bung sam lan Lake - with monster sized Giant carp and Giant catfish. The main difference being that the stocking levels of the Mekong & striped catfish here are high but not excessive. This in turn allows for greater catch rates & opportunities to successfully target the Indian carp \ Rohu, Siamese giant carp, black shark (carp specie) & Chinese bighead carp.
catfish is around 16-18kg ( 35-40lb) which is a huge size for this catfish species. Striped catfish over 20kg ( 44lb) are regularly caught and the lake record stands at a whopping 25kg (55lb).
ITINERARY:-
Your day will begin with your guides collecting you from your Bangkok hotel at 7:30a.m.
Non-fishing guests are welcome to come along and enjoy the day free of charge. The big fish action, the surroundings, the great weather, the delicious food, the charisma and friendliness of the guides make a memorable day also for your friends & family.
All the necessary fishing tackle will be provided for you, including some ultra-tough rods & reels required for taking on the catfish & carp at this Lake. There is no need to bring any fishing tackle with you, our specialist tackle is top of the range and designed for exactly this purpose.
All of the baits are also included and suitable for all of the target carp & catfish species.Often bait selection & mix is a critically over-looked factor, with our proven bait mixes we not only get you on the fish but also get the fish on your hook!
Food & drinks can be purchased near-by at low Thai prices & delivered to you on the bankside.

EXTRA RODS
As standard each angler will fish 1 catfish rod each which will ensure some great big fish action from the powerful Mekong catfish & mighty striped catfish. In order to target the wonderful carp species different rigs & baits are used. Fish Thailand highly recommends fishing extra rods to successfully target the Indian carp \ rohu, Siamese carp, Chinese bighead carp & black shark. The extra rod fee listed below also covers the vast amount of extra bait needed to attract the carp.
