This guided fishing trip will take you to the largest reservoir in Thailand the Queen Sirikit Dam, which is about 129 km long.

The dam is located near Uttaradit and is definetly one of the best waters for Snakehead and Jungle Perch in Thailand, The breathtaking views and the excotic nature of this area just add to the whole attraction of this fishing tour in Thailand.

This one is designed for skilled Lure-Fisherman, the fishing at this water needs precise Casting  because you will always be fishing in areas with Submerged trees and lots of other snags.

Your english speaking guide and Thai boatman will work tirlessly to get you into the right places and on the fish. After that it is up to you to do battle with these fierce predatory fish.

Fishing for snakeheads or jungle perch is the ultimate challenge and the success depends often on the right season.

We do not offer this trip during the cool winter season, we start fishing here from the end of February until the end of October. During these months you have a good chance to hook one of these fierce predators.

As it takes more than 4 hours by car to reach this damfrom Chian mai, this guided fishing trip is for a minimum of 2 days / 1 night.

PRICING:2 day fishing tour with a local Longtail-Boat Max. 2 Person (Basic accomodation on a Bambooraft)

16.500,- Baht (Extension  7000,-Baht per day)

Included. Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch

Pick-up : 9.00a.m., Return about 8.00p.m. next day.

ITINERARY:

Day 1- Leave Chiang Mai around 9am.Arrive @ Queen Sirikit Dam around 2pm. After lunch start fishing with lures for Snakehead and Jungle Perch ( Hampala Barb) until dark.Dinner then sleep in Floating Bamboo raft house.

Day 2
- Fishing from 6am until 12pm, then after luch head back to Chiang Mai, pickup baggage from DREAMLAKE Resort and Transfer to Hotel, Guest House or Airport.

This trip is really adventureous and you will spend the nights on a floating bambooraft out on the water.

The accomodation is on a Thai style floating raft based at the edge of the dam where there is s very good resteraunt that serves delicious Thai food and a minimart very nearby.
