Another great catch for the Mango Black Magic. This Big head carp which is usually a native of China was caught in Germany using a Thai Handmade fishing lure from Mango Fishing Ltd of Chiang Mai Thailand.
The Big Head carp is thought to have a main diet of zooplankton ( tiny microscopic animals that live in the water), phytoplankton and detritus. It also feeds on invertebrates and snails aswell as vegetable matter.
There have been some reports from the USA (where Big Head carp is not a native species and have established themselves in rivers and lakes) of Big Head Carp taking Lures, Jigs and Deadbaits.
Now MEGA FISHING THAILAND.COM have this report including exclusive photos of a Chinese BIG HEAD Carp caught in Germany on a Thai made fishing lure.

Chris Tyger is the Angler in these photos, He spent a day fishing a large lake in South Germany with the Mango Black magic Lure
He is the Mangofishing team member for Predator fishing. He is one of the most famous and successfull anglers in south germany and austria.
On the same day at this great lake nobody caught fishes. But when Chris Tyger arrived, he caught a big 15Kilo Pike, one 80cm Walleye and this Big Head Carp, all on the Mango Black Magic ( Known in Germany as: Mango Magic ).
The Mango Black Magic lure is a positive boyancy diving plug lure. Its a proven shape with a different design that fits in with the modern and technologically advanced outlook of Mangofishing Ltd of Chiang Mai Thailand.
This Lure was also responsible for a recent record catch of a 177lb Catfish in Germany CLICK HERE to read about it
Big Head Carp are not usually known to take minnow lures allthough the Bigger and older ones do turn predatory so this goes to show again the proven quality of the Mango Fishing Lure.

BIG HEAD CARP, or Bla Jin as they are known in Thai language have been very successfully introduced into many countries, sometimes by accident and other times on purpose.
In Thailand they are quite widespread and are considered a great sport fish in many of the main fishing lakes and parks.
They can also be found in some larger reservoirs and lakes right across the country.
