Michael Wards did it again the next day, catching this time a lovely specimen of the rare and elusive Catlocarpio siamensis or Siamese Giant Carp, the mother of all carp species. His catch weighted on certified scales was 48 kilos. What an exceptional achievement for an angler to add to his catches record two catches of a lifetime, this in only two days fishing in a row! That’s what fishing in Thailand is often about.
